With all the heavy rains we are receiving here, I am reminded of the spring quote “April showers bring May flowers”. Although, on this one particular day in April. after the nighttime thunderstorms and all the rain, it brought lots of sweet bunnies visiting our yard. It was so much fun to observe them play what looked like bunny hide and seek, chasing each other around the house and bunny binkies.
We had approximately 7-9 rabbits hanging out in our yard most of the day. At times, I had wondered if any of these sweet bunnies were decedents of our Hallie Bunny. Some of them even came up to me to sniff my feet when I went outside.
Of course, I grabbed my canon rebel camera to capture the moment. I have lots of cute pictures from watching them be so jovial. This picture I am featuring is Radar Bunny. When I first met Radar, it appeared to me that she might be “talking” with her ears. They would rotate back and forth. I immediately thought of radar ears. As I continue to see Radar in our yard, the name definitely fits her. She loves to communicate with her ears when I am outside. She also has a cute dark band across her ears like an 80’s headband. She came up to me that sweet bunny day and sniffed around my feet so I was able to capture some beautiful close-ups moments of her. She is simply pure cuteness.
It was so wonderful to experience all the sweet bunny love and that they felt safe around me and our yard.
That is KAPOW! Tracie
